Drs. George and Hazel Hill are the founders of Victory Churches International, a church planting organization that has spread to 35 nations around the world. The Victory movement began in 1979, with the Hills planting and pastoring their first church in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. This soon grew to be one of the largest charismatic churches in Canada at that time.
In 1988, with five churches established in southern Alberta, Victory Churches of Canada was formed. Victory Churches of Canada quickly became the largest church planting organization in North America. The organization's explosive growth rapidly expanded into the United States, Europe, Asia and Africa. The establishment of numerous Victory Bible Colleges, Christian Schools and TV & Radio ministries accompanied the growth of this grass roots organization.
Dr. George Madden and his wife Sandy have been actively involved in ministry for the last 27 years, ministering the gospel in over 25 nations. Dr. Madden operates strongly in an apostolic ministry that thrives on raising up and releasing leaders into their God-given destiny. Dr. Madden is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Centre in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He holds a Bachelor of Theology from Canada Christian College, and a Master of Divinity from Victory Bible Colleges International, and a Doctorate Degree in Religious Education from the California State Christian University.
Dr. George Madden ministers at many camps, conferences, retreats and churches worldwide. Dr. Madden's ministry is dynamic as he preaches with the expectation that God will confirm His Word with signs following, and demonstrate that the gospel truly is the power of God. You will be blessed by his contagious enthusiasm as the Lord moves mightily in equipping people to live a life of faith and victory.
Dr. Shelley Cook has worked in counselling asessing and treating children and families since 1996. Her main focus of practice is typically clinical assessment and treatment of children, adults and families who are experiencing trauma, abuse, separation and hard to serve problems. Shelley is requested on a regular basis to perform independent assessments, treatment and recommendations for the legal community on cases involving high conflict families. She is trained as a family mediator/arbitrator and is a lecturer at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario in their Continuing Education Department.
Dr. Shelley's teaching passion is to see lives changed through the work of the Holy Spirit. She is trained and equipped to lead students into deeper realms of ministry and to move out into the area of counselling. Her own fellowship with God, along with her personal insights of intimacy with the Lord, have helped her counsel His beloved towards wellbeing.
Paul Militsala is the Director of Victory Worship Arts (VWA), the worship arm of Victory Churches International, and Senior Pastor for Fort Road Victory Church in Edmonton, Alberta. As an accomplished musician and worship leader for over 20 years he is committed to the role God has placed on his life to teach and train worship leaders and teams. Pastor Paul has a B. Theo with a Music Major in Woodwinds. Along with a team of dedicated musicians and worship leaders, he heads up the National Victory Worship Conference called designed2worship. When he's not at home pastoring Fort Road Victory Church he ministers at different conferences nationally and internationally to provide intense worship team "tune-up" workshops with passion and a standard of excellence. As the director of Worship Arts, he desires to see each Worship Arts Student at VBCI stretched and experiencing their fullest potential in Christ, as they lead others to the secret place in worship.
VBCI has over 40 teachers, teaching on various subjects, the vast majority of whom are men and women who are presently successfully involved in the full-time ministry (or in their field of expertise). Therefore, students learn more than theory
and textbook knowledge,
